In case you missed it - 10,372,929 million shares voted "Abstain" on the second resolution - the one issuing notes and attaching options to a related party. The "Abstain" vote was higher than the "For" vote, which only obtained 8,284,883 votes.

Usually, an "abstain" vote indicates displeasure of the shareholder(s) in relation to the resolution put forward, without wanting to scuttle the deal which could create additional issues for management.

The low overall vote highlights the level of conflict(s) and/or general disillusionment with the company.

I think a realistic assessment of the vote on the capital raising is that the majority of non-related parties to the raising are not satisfied that the form of the capital raising via the notes and attaching options was in the best interest of minority shareholders.

"Great news" to me would be a very different looking capital raising.
