That is good point.
Raiders are generally out for themselves so I doubt they are overly concerned. It will be all about the consensus value agreed that holds the majority shareholder group together.
If you want a fairly recent example of an asset sale you can go to TLM's sale of their 30% minority JV interest in the Springfield exploration tenements and Monty deposit as an example. I'm pretty sure if you sift through that case example many of the questions that you have around tax should be answered. There is probably also a definitive answer to the voting threshold question in that case study as well.Esh
