I see no reason why RRL would not resubmit an offer for either the asset or the Company now if they see that there is a receptive BoD and a sufficient number of shareholders now willing to vote in favour of a sale.

I held shares in CMM prior to the vote but am now increasing my holding based on this possibility.

When RRL made their initial offer (24/9/2018) the gold price was AUD$1,649. Today it is AUD $1,833.

A script offer would be acceptable to me, and I think a number of other shareholders, to the point that I am willing to speculate on this potential transaction by funding some CMM purchases through the sale of some of my RRL position.

For those concerned about a "low ball" offer from RRL, fair enough.

However, the market is currently valuing CMM at an even "low-er ball" price and if there is a double-digit capital gain to be had here, so be it. The market has been valuing CMM below RRL's original offer price (11.4c) for nearly two years now, so accusing RRL of being opportunistic doesn't cut it IMO. Not all successful investments in the junior sector need to actually develop their projects themselves for retail investors to make a quid.
