I can't see any rational why Hawkes Point would have voted for these guys.
If my musing are correct the current block of shareholders can side step Hawkes Point majority holding as they don't need Hawkes Point's shares to sell the asset.
It would be interesting to know how Hawkes Point voted. My guess is they voted against these guys (does that make sense in terms of the NO vote cast? were there enough NO votes to account for HP's holding?).
Hawkes point blocked the fire sale last time. I doubt they changed their tune. They were the parties protecting long term shareholder value IMO.
The new shareholder block just want to make a quick buck and these guys will do very very well out of the company for very little work if they aren't just blowing their own trumpets and actually have the fire sale deal lined up. Esh
