I accept that LD brought Daisy Milano to the table back in 2007. My issue is that it was on LD's watch (as MD) that the Murchison fiasco occurred and the company nearly died (and has $430m tax losses). The company suffered (and still suffers) reputational damage from this and LD has (but doesn't) take responsibility for this "near death" experience. The way LD stood down as MD the day before the 2014 AGM and appointed as an NED the day after appeared like a way of finessing a SH vote. In 2015 LD also got a raspberry from Shareholders (but like this time got in on the robo vote), In response to a question at the AGM of the vote against LD the board ascribed the vote against LD to the robo vote by proxy advisors - are they kidding or are the blind!! I find it incredible that LD still stays on (he can't be poor) - must have a thick hide. Thanks for your remarks on the DRM directors; at least we should have some competent new people on the board.
