All very pertinent points Vlad, but if you look at how the actual structures have been built up and the problems they have explicated and discussed with the shareholders, even though they have not been very forthcoming with the nitty-gritty details, you can see how these problems have all been entirely consistent with the typical way R&D goes. None of these problems are actually surprising. As you develop a product as complex as a MEMS you encounter problems that you did not know were sitting there waiting for you in the bushes alongside the track. It is only as they leap out and bite you that you recognise it was always likely to be a potential problem - just one that you did not know about beforehand. The nature of MEMS and how they work is revealing quite a bit of unexplored physics - none of it totally new to science, its just that they did not know how it would manifest as problem - until it did. Personally I am not surprised they have struck a few issues. That they have not struck more is a result of both good thinking and good fortune.
