I went to the AGM today, and I asked Lino Saputo Jr about whether Saputo would be interested in buying out the remaining minority shareholders. He unequivocally said 'yes' but that they want to get hold of the Lion shareholding (which was not sold alongside the Lion Everyday Business) and as yet, they have been unable to do so.

It seems that Lion is holding out for a better price, but eventually, it seems that this business is going to be swallowed whole by Saputo. Which means that the current SP has a lot more upside than downside.
