If I test runners for speed and have both Ursain Bolt and Magda Subanski or Sarah Hanson Young on the track but only test who can finish the 100m in 5 seconds then I can't tell much from that binary position when both runners fail to beat it.

Sometimes I'm incompetent when rational thought is needed........but my question is what has the best looking sort in federal parliament, an overweight comedian and the fastest man to have ever lived got in common ?

Anyway I hope I'm still alive to see a human being run a 100 metres in 5 seconds. 20 metres a second from a standing start. I'd love to see that.

With respect to bhutos whose right up there with jaybay for intellectual comment. I reckon this latest post is what makes hotcopper so interesting when you have a bit of spare time to just sit back and reflect. You just never know wot ya gunna read wen ya log on.

Usain Bolt's fastest recorded time is 9.58 seconds over 100 metres and drug free.
