Are ARV a dividend paying company? Little 'ol SAU is, and they did S(You)TM
I would think Simon and the board know they have a great company at their disposal. They followed through and paid a dividend which was flagged well before it was announced. I doubt they would have released capital from the business thinking they were going to struggle to find the next revenue source. I personally believe that the next revenue source is a lot closer than the market thinks, and that is why I've continued to buy on market and take full participation in the recent DRP.
If I thought SAU were going to muck around for the next few years going nowhere, and that they didn't have any promising prospects, I'd sell out now before other large holders do, and take less of a haircut.
I see the recent Honkers presentation as Simon looking to sell the story to smart Asian investors who know how to value the company better than the asx. It hasn't resulted in a surge of on market purchases that I was hoping for, but that rarely happens.
I think Bluebird have made an incredibly smart move getting involved with our SK asset so early, and they've probably picked the jewel in the crown. I also think we are incredibly lucky to be involved with such an experienced team as Bluebird. If Gubong develops rapidly, and gets put into production, perhaps we'll be swamped with JV requests from others for our other prospects.
As has been said in many recent announcements, exploration activities rarely result in production. We're reopening a mine with potentially millions of dollars worth of infrastructure already in situ, with veins ready to tap, unprocessed ore ready to go, samples taken to analyse how to best tackle with modern technology and tailings facilities currently valued at nothing.

Hi 1982 ,SAU all triggers are in position and it needs only a match stick to set the scrip on fire . Just needs patience which is sadly lacking in most investors . Most of them are going nuts seeing NVO and ARV recent multibagging .
