The other stock I follow that has a very high Indonesian factor spent 2 1/2 years being told that everything was fine, do not worry, progress is happening on approvals for much needed expansions, won't be long now, everything agreed in principle, go ahead and order and pay for hundreds of millions of equipment, signing soon.

meanwhile, an Indonesian major influential diversified energy conglomerate were agitating at all levels of Ministry influence and local Governor level plus student demonstrations during an election year, to push for the expulsion of the company from Indonesia on a mass of twisted and fabricated half-truths. There is even an unexplained plant breakdown during the student agitation period that can't be mentioned as it would have played directly into the hands of those organising as being an insult to the Indonesian people and further proof of the poor attitude of the foreign exploiter etc. (So message to Kerry, make sure that all parts of the plant have excellent fences and are also enclosed in vandal proof buildings).

It was a very difficult time for them and only became obvious when the 'intermediary' died and the replacement had conflicting positions to present.

The demise of BPMigas is tied into this saga as well.

Just remember that Panax is very much a minnow before stamping your feet. The projects are primarily Bakrie Power projects, not Panax projects and yet there is still scarcely a mention on these boards of Bakrie's present power producing operations or their involvement in Geothermal or anything else about them for that matter. It seems like Bakrie don't exist here. A very poor position imv.

As has been mentioned eloquently before, Bakrie are not a fairy godmother, so better to know more about them imho as we are contracted to them.
