My How To On Fundamental Anlysts

1) Google Buy Side Analyst;
2) Google Sell Side Analyst;
3a) On ANY Report read the disclaimer for conflicts of interest, ie WHO paid for the analysis, a pump favourite, b) Google Muddy Waters Sino Forest short (they were right, illustrates other BUYanalysts stupid herd groupthink) and Citron Research (jury still out on their VRX:TSX & NYSE);
4) Google Herd Instinct, Groupthink;
5) Determine Analyst's track record;
6) Determine Analysts' Trend, usually one year, in targets, EPS, etc, and;
7) Hold your nose.

That's the start of gauging analysts. Think of most of them as liars/ad men until proven useful. Think of ALL of them being able to make a credible buy/sell/hold case for anything under the sun.

Hi,

CLH (shown below) will move many traders to look for similar patterns, and our EPW is right there with the same set up, looking tempting. If it was in the same sector it would have moved today. We might move early next week. RFN is another which should benefit.
