My How To On Fundamental Anlysts

1) Google Buy Side Analyst;
2) Google Sell Side Analyst;
3a) On ANY Report read the disclaimer for conflicts of interest, ie WHO paid for the analysis, a pump favourite, b) Google Muddy Waters Sino Forest short (they were right, illustrates other BUYanalysts stupid herd groupthink) and Citron Research (jury still out on their VRX:TSX & NYSE);
4) Google Herd Instinct, Groupthink;
5) Determine Analyst's track record;
6) Determine Analysts' Trend, usually one year, in targets, EPS, etc, and;
7) Hold your nose.

That's the start of gauging analysts. Think of most of them as liars/ad men until proven useful. Think of ALL of them being able to make a credible buy/sell/hold case for anything under the sun.
