Very interesting video and I agree it does sum up the problem AXP faces. Everyone except the last guy seemed to think it was great, but all the surgeons were cautious. AXP really should have picked this up earlier and slowed the ramp and conserved cash. What sort of market research did they do before spending all that money?

Interestingly nobody raised the speed issue (i.e. by letting the patient control the expansion they get to the end point faster). I wonder if there should have been much greater emphasis put on educating the patients via the various patient groups to put pressure back on the surgeons to use this more. Also concentrating on those surgeons in more remote locations where patient travel is an issue might have been wise too.

Looks like the problem is just the usual grind faced by anything new combined with some clueless management. With luck the new CEO will get on top of this quickly and we will start to see a payoff from the grind.
