I have a true story...

I'm a consultant. In the mid-90's I did some work for a fellow we'll call John (not his real name). He spent approximately $250 million (most, if not all, of his net worth) buying a 25%-ish in ABC Company at (say) $4.5. The company hit a wall, big time!. He and his team went in, sold stuff, rationalised assets, cut costs (you get the picture). I did a little bit. At the low point the shares were worth less than $.04. As one of my colleagues said "he is into his wife's shoe money!" Long story short by the time he finished and sold the company he had made about $1 Billion. In respect of AXP I channel John!
