It’s easy to be critical from afar. Nobody takes on a role of running a company lightly. Rogers will have invested a lot of himself into this both time, money and emotionally and it must be enormously stressful to continue to preside over it as it’s teeters on the brink.
I’m sure there’s plenty they’d do differently with hindsight but we also aren’t close enough to it to understand all the considerations and constraints that they’ve had to factor into those decisions.
The gold hasn’t been there in the grades required that’s the long and short of it. They e got the processing plant working but need the feed.. They may be on the brink of it hitting it now but they’ve been calling that for a while.
Either way its clear this this is the last opportunity - would be nice to see this turn around but it’s becoming a bigger mountain to climb.
