The ASX is obliged to report matters to ASIC where it believes a breach of the Corporations Act may have occurred. However, this does not mean that ASIC will investigate or even take notice. ASIC are a toothless tiger and if they do investigate, by the time they conclude things, the directors are long gone along with any money.
