I wouldn't hesitate to believe that this was a scheme for a hostile takeover if it weren't for the enormous paper trail of blatant criminal behaviour left by Gutnick. Even a rock in the NT desert would understand that you couldn't get away this. The loan, the lies and then the late annual report is like a kid smashing open a cookie jar and lying about eating them with crumbs around its mouth. The optimist in me would suggest that management believes in a round about way that their wheelings and dealings will eventually result in a profitable mine. Am I wrong? Most certainly. But god knows I can't come up with another working theory. Someone please prove me wrong though.
