When the takeover from Compass Group comes presumably? The longer that Compass Group (CPG) leaves DOW (CPG is apparently looking at childcare, GEM and other stuff in Australia), the closer DOW will be to about $10.
CPG coincidentally had one of the best results this morning, special dividend, interim improved and Richard Cousins is looking for acquisitions with capital being so tight. The turnaround is so magnificent, CPG if valued at 1650p, DOW would be worth about $11 give or take the mining engineering metrics.
The SPO deal notwithstanding, DOW is a woof em down back up the truck stock that still has not reached anything like real value and Fenn would want DOW above $10 to fend off a takeover IMHO but pls DYOR.
