I've explained this many times, but I'll do so again for you. Part of my motivation for and interest in the stock market is simply observing and learning and enjoying the show. AEB has been an interesting company to watch at times. To be honest, it has also been an interesting opportunity to observe human behaviour and psychology. Watching bad companies helps you to learn and understand and importantly, recognise other bad companies. I think watching AEB has taught me to recognise issues in other companies, which has save me being burned a number of times. AEB is an extremely obvious company, amazingly predictable, it plays a lot of standard strategies. Watching the super obvious examples makes it easier to recognise them when they're not so obvious in other cases.

It's also a bit of a comic relief at times while other companies I'm watching are quiet or dry.

I am a fallible human, and I see some amazingly obvious psychological errors being made by AEB holders, which again, helps me to recognise them elsewhere, importantly, in myself.

It's also somewhat gratifying when I encourage people to dig deeper and do their own research and see people thank me for saving them thousands of dollars. I get no money from it, but I suppose it's a form of charity, and it's much easier and cheaper to benefit someone to the value of thousands of dollars like this than to hand them thousands of dollars from my own pocket. Not that I take credit or feel that I have somehow provided them with that, but to whatever extent their thanks are valid, I take happiness and I suppose some pride.

There are many other reasons, but the last example I'll give is the amusement from tantrums like yours

...and in your own way of thinking, if you don't like me, why not read the posts of and respond to people you do like? Not that I'm telling you what to do; you're most welcome to chat with me here any time
