I am 69 years old self funded retiree businessman, and travelled the world in my lifetime. Lived in the UK, Canada, Middle East and so on ( I come originally from Lebanon, 46 years in Australia) . No place like Australia for me, although currently overseas in Asia on extended holiday.

Liberal voter, since the demise of the Whitlam government, although the liberal's foreign policy infringes, on the interest of that part of the world I originally come from.

Having said that, and I am talking from personal experience of different cultures, and every culture has its flaws, we can't mask our social problems and try to compare it to political systems of the countries you refer to.
