People left and right are leveraging themselves 10 to 1 to buy their own home.
Businesses take out loans every day to fund their business operations.
I don't understand why everyone is complaining when Domino's management is leveraging themselves to buy an asset. Plus, it is an asset that produces money. A home doesn't produce any income unless you turn it into an investment property and it will most probably be negatively geared.
I think that is why most people are still employees (AFR writers) because they think any form of leverage is bad.
P.S: Look at Berkshire's balance sheet. They have $102 billion in long-term debt. Is that bad? AFR will be writing "Berkshire is $102 billion in debt" with the purpose of getting views and subscribers.
