Ok - it seems from that post that you are starting to come around to the possibility that there is some sort of weathering effect/supergene enrichment processes happening that may be effecting the reported grades and metallurgy/recoveries seen.
If you do accept these processes as possible explanations, and given your 35 years of geological expertise, how representative of the entire gabbro do you think the surface sampling was? What sampling or geological/petrographic or assaying techniques would you use to test the possibility that BBX have a fine grained low grade gabbro hosted gold deposit with recent localised surgical weathering/enrichment at surface?
