A good prospector could dolly that up in five minutes and pan it and if it contained gold, platinum, palladium or any heavy elements it would form a nice long tail at the bottom of the panning dish. You wouldn't need complicated processes using nitric acid and roasting to separate a good fraction of that from the rock if it was gold, an alloy of gold, or a rare sulphide containing heavy metals. You just don't get it. You can't have it both ways. Your precious metals are either at mm/tenth of mm scales and will largely be able to be separated by gravity to form a gold/PGM concentrate or at micron scales (that are only observable under the most powerful electron microscopes) and need all the special metallurgical techniques to extract. I find it incredible that a geologist can't understand the concept of scale. Try reading this post you might learn something.

and P.S. please don't quote me again, tag me in again or engage me because as I've had enough of reading and posting on the BBX thread. What will be will be.

As I said, if this ever trades again, I'll be praying that the drill results continue to give the same fantastic results and you and your mate bring punters in in droves with your stories of untold riches so I can sell out at a great price, because I'm not going to be hanging around for the glory days. When the pump comes I'll be out. If the pump doesn't come, I'll either sell or if the market catches me out they'll just go back into the bottom draw from where they came from.

    Enough.
