@PortfolioPlus we are very obviously talking about two very different levels of the past due debt spectrum. They were not classified "rats & mice" until my company had repossessed the encumbered asset, their end financial position had been evaluated with a physical visit and they had been dealt with by the courts - and that was all in house - no private detectives and kneecappers as agents. More often than not they skipped after the rough treatment. I would probably be looking at a gaol sentence based on the Haynes RC but as you say the methods were different then and sometimes even the police were called in to help protect us in the act of getting HP furniture and vehicles back. Thankfully this does not apply to PNCs type of debt portfolio and if it did I would not be a shareholder. I have occasionally emailed Keith John about his type of operation and I am assured his methodology is just as he has indicated in past reports. He carries this philosophy both commercially and personally as you will find if researching his profile in WA. I am hoping that the uncertainty over the value of the portfolios and any adjustments flowing from that do not cause Keith to have to reconsider his very confident guidance for end of year. There IMO lies the greatest immediate danger.
