The current uncertainty has arisen because of the adoption of AASB 9.
This is the first period for which PNC is required to adopt this standard, previous results were prepared using a different accounting standard.

It will take some time for the dust to settle and the whole accounting industry ( including ASIC and auditors) to agree on the interpretation of AASB 9 in this situation.
