I think you summed it up well, and although we have never spoken about it, I feel you are substantially more LT than just a trader. Me too, but I like to see my risk covered also.
DOW and US news is crook today - all about Facebook and Google and new court cases but also about a Tesla which crashed and caught fire. So what, I think - sheet happens - peeps who are playing for nice stakes (over a period) need to be a bit more emotionally settled.
Today's open looks good with steady buying into some moderate profit takers here on MTH and also in VMC - both of whom hold my interest ATM.
