Well, excuse this not yet qualified geologist for picking on a qualified geologist but where is the lack of clarity in the announcement?

What MYL have done is disclose immediately that they have hit some sniff of chalco mineralisation (first sentence) and that they have not yet got assay results back (second sentence) then showed a picture that verifies what they have just stated (third item).

Nothing in the amended release or the aware letter has changed that first 3 point info piece. How could it? It was accurate! It was actually disclosure! I as a part owner want to know!

Obviously, as it is already a world class resource with an NPV over US$400 MILLION it would be immaterial, on a single hole, especially without assays (remember that second sentence?)

I'm invested in this company for a lot of different reasons but one of them is because it's a rich VMS system that is unexplored by modern means. I personally believe there is very substantial upside to come. Over a long period of time they could easily double or triple this resource. It wont all be found at first but when you find chalco like that at the location of your EM targets as John Lamb said, "It's hard not to be optimistic....", especially with other upgrades happening all over the shop.

On the subject of protecting investors, if investors are not either getting a second opinion from a reliable source or have some personal experience then they have as good as done their money at some point on some company anyway. (and we will ignore the 2 analyst reports that value it at 40c plus)

I really don't understand how any geologist could possible have an issue with this release by MYL and the only thing I can think is it is an organisational level directive. Maybe it's not the individual compliance officers call?

Biggest worry in all this is that this same $^%#% might be deciding on what the company can print in their PFS. That could be construed as failing to inform the market but the ASX would be the culprit if so! So stinks of political correctness taken to the point where it is actually incorrect. All of the above in my opinion of course, as is anything any of us write in here

PS Who do you complain to when the ASX is doing you over?
