It's a shame to hear that rebel78, but thanks for sharing your experiences. I worked for Crescent Gold for some years prior to the T/O by FML (and we all know how that has gone), and we were in a similar position, struggling for grade while simultaneously trying to keep the very manual Barnicoat mill going. I knew that Beta had previously sent Deep Yellow bust before A1 tried to get it going again, and I was always a little sceptical considering its history, a new plant, and the difficulty in estimating the grade from the deposit. Ultimately it's very sad for these two companies shareholders, employees and the community that they are no longer around, as Laverton needed them to keep going, and I certainly take no pleasure in having seen my worst fears come to fruition.
