i would not agree if and its an if they give away an equity stake then any valuations undertaken will need to be adjusted accordingly. As such i would imagine any equity deal will dilute the upside of the SP and therefore the ability of the SP to hit the strike price and should therefore effect the price of the options. To think otherwise is highly naive ....
