Could have been a number of reasons, sometimes you sit down in the chair and have a change of heart. That said I've always found that it takes 6 months in a new position / work place to feel comfortable. Perhaps it was the break Gary had after his resignation from Talisman that is weighing on his mind and how good it is to relax with family etc. I phoned the company this morning and they sounded just as surprised from what I could gather.
