Good assessment Mattao. Super funds both small and large are desperate for ways to add value at the moment. Any tax advantage arbitrage play and they are all over it. Look at the recent tax effective BHP and JB Hifi buy backs. The shares were brought up like hot cakes to qualify for the huge franked divs. The value of a fully franked div to say a pension fund paying 0% tax is huge.
