Going on memory here. If I remember correctly, BHP pulled out because they virtually got ousted from a huge mineral sands deposit, which they had control over, in Mozambique. The then leader wanted a better deal and just kicked out BHP. No more mineral sands deposit, no more need for APG technology. That's what I remember, as if it means anything now.
