She's been with company for 8 years, a considerable time so may just a time for a change/new chalienge. People leave for all sorts of reasons personal or professional, they have to leave eventually!
Not leaving immediately, if something was wrong she wouldn't be hanging around nor would they use the language they have in the announcement.
Nothing to see IMO, roll on tbe interims....
