Duh!!.How can you say that when even the company doesn't even know!
"The company has initiated a search for a replacement."
It takes time to find the right person - interviews, personal assessments, psychometric tests etc. The CEO is staying on for nearly 3 months so expect a replacement to be found later rather than sooner.
