Reflecting on abeaty's listing of the state of play of the Resolutions on the agenda at the General Meeting and wa waverider's research into casual vacancies, it would seem that the meeting will be now voting on Resolutions 4,5,6 and 7. Resolutions 1,2 and 3 no longer apply due to resignations and Resolutions 8 and 9 have been hijacked due to the appointment of Messrs. Lurie and Mutton as they now fill casual vacancies.
And as these appointments must be confirmed by a resolution at the next A.G.M. shareholders don't have any course of action until then. Shareholders then have the opportunity of confirming or voting out the casual vacancy appointments.. So if we must go along with missing out on voting on Resolutions 8 and 9 then the matter can be looked at again in about 6 months time when the AGM is called. (My interpretation only - I could stand to be corrected).
At least voting on the remaining 4 resolutions and not the original 9 should halve the meeting time. I didn't think sufficient time for the meeting was allowed for when it was originally called.
