On May 27, the newest round rare earth heir apparent tendered had finished, tender total quantity more than 3000 tons. And mainstream RE product: Neodymium oxide tender price approximately 285,000 Yuan/ton, quantity 250 tons; Europium oxide tender price approximately 570,000 Yuan/ton, quantity 200 tons; Dysprosium oxide tender price approximately 1.243 million Yuan/ton, quantity 520 tons; Lutecium oxide tender price approximately 5.21 million Yuan/ton, quantity approximately 35 tons; Yttrium oxide tender price approximately 26,000 Yuan/ton, quantity approximately 330 tons, erbium oxide tender price approximately 190,000 Yuan/ton, quantity approximately 300 tons.


While some are desperately trying to manufacture a DyO 'deficit' in 2017 the Chinese State purchased 1410t into LT storage, 17 months production at current run rates. DyO prices still ended the year down 12.75%.
