the ATO has been looking for money from every possible quarters - AirBnB / UBER drivers / tradies - you name it... not a bad thing as everyone should pay their just dues to the system - rorting is not done...

BUT this R&D claim against KNL (and a few other companies that I have seen recently challenge it) seems to be a bit out of place IMO - the Aussie companies that genuinely spend money on R&D and come up with a solution / system / product / widget have something to show for it - we are not "trying to pull a fast one" here - we are claiming refund for the work done that would help the company in the future and under the guidance of another agency - looks like the left hand is not talking to the right hand out here - they should talk to AUSIND and get clarification from them before harassing KNL and others...

I hope we get this mess sorted out ASAP - not helping our cause at the time when cash is running low and a CR is now taken for granted...
