Does this mean an oil company is morphing into a medicvision company?

I wonder if this plays out similar to the story of ERJ when a company I had heavily invested in looked as if it was going into the water out of thin air business. Convertible note put in place, hard-to-see-profitable new direction announced, many existing shareholders bail, convertible note holders pick shares up for a song, Company refocuses on another area that looks much more promising, shares rocket up, shares get selled down at a HUGE profit to "the lucky ones", of course they had "no inside run".

Then again, I could be completely off the scent. Hope so.
