re: Ann: Requisition for Shareholders Meeting...
Okay I'm going to make a comment, and its not because I've lost some money, as luckily I am in a position where it doesn't affect me too much. And I really haven't lost it unless I sell.
Anyway - this is DISGRACEFUL. I beleive this is really nothing short of a coup, by disgruntled shareholders. The way they have gone about it is also disgraceful (read similar to labour getting rid of Rudd). To ask for them to 'quit' or imply that they needed to, at the very least they should have had some options to stay on as non-exucitive directors, or alternatively the shareholders should have requested additional directors be added to the board.
To replace experience directors - note all three of them, in this field, with TWO inexperienced directors in this field is absolutely a joke! I for one hope they keep the 3rd director who hasn't resigned!!!!!
With a small company like this, it seems that the board of directors are also the main employees of the company. So they run things. Now we are going to have to pay to get some more experience back on board (read more costs).
Now people will say that they didn't do their job well, and I agree in most contexts. However how long now do we have to stuff around with these 'newbies' while they work out the ropes, and tennemants of this company, and then finally get to work. In that time things I reckon would have come right with the old crew.
Anyway enough of a rant. I think I'll take these shares now out of my bottom draw, and go outside and bury them in the garden (deep enough so the dogs don't dig 'em out).
DISGRACEFUL!!!!!
