If this gets to the point of being bankrupt, it’s because the “geniuses” running the company are no hopers, have no ideas. What you said is true that money will soon run out and a CR will be required, but who do you think will participate. Yours truly won’t be one of them and I dare say most or all of the current SH will not be interested. So, what happens next, a T/O “in our best interests”. Not likely.
