    The Tesla Roadster is a 1000km range. This will go through the rest of the models. Technology cheapens and gets easier to get a hold of. For example flat screen TV's. The cordless drill which was invented by NASSA. EV's will be able to do 2000km range before we know it. Much better than petrol cars and at no extra weight.
