re: Ann: Removal from Official List - (COB 10... As an aside, why is it that ASIC never seem willing to crack down on asset-shuffling? There are a few suspicious looking incidences buried in the nether regions of the ASX. Yet have we actually seen a prosecution of management in a surviving company?
It seems to me that ASIC will only act if there is a Receiver to provide sufficient evidence or perhaps when the $'s involved are sufficiently large to attract a litigation funder. For the rest, if the heat gets too much, just shuffle the assets and start again in another jurisdiction or another name. Just how it looks. But maybe someone can point to a company that ASIC beat the Receivers to?
