It must be brought to everyones attention that Thred is part of Microsoft’s BizSpark program.
Although I do like Thred and hold shares in the company, I just wanted to stop any confusion.
Microsoft’s BizSpark is a program that is applied for. It's a program that helps out start ups offering promotion to Microsofts partner ecosystem. As part of BizSpark, Microsoft will offer Thred access to new development and technical support for the development. So yes, they are partnered so to speak but not in the way everyone MAY be thinking. Many companies are part of this program.
For example: ASX listed PTR is acquiring soon to be MS Gooroo Pty Ltd.
Gooroo WAS approached by Microsoft personally. NOT UNDER ANY OF THEIR PROGRAMS but because a senior Microsoft Executive in Asia contacted MS Head Office who in turn reached out to Gooroo wanting to be apart of what they are doing. Yes, that situation is INCREDIBLY RARE for a startup. In Gooroo's case well they got extremely lucky that Microsoft love what they do enough to ink a REAL DEAL with them.
