Well as Ananda K has stated Threds EV is modest when compared to Slack. Slack has been identified as Threds key competitor in the workplace collaboration space hence if you hear me banging on about Slack you know why.

Slack have taken a bottom up approach to market assertion whilst Thred backed by MS are taking a top down approach. Slack has not broken into big businesses yet whilst conversely 80% of Fortune 500 companies use Microsoft including O365.

As stated earlier Slacks user numbers represent 4% of Threds exposure to Microsoft o365 user base. Slack is valued now over $3billion in around 3 years.. If you do the math you will fall over even if you are sitting down.

Aside from the likely foray into the Chinese market (which is massive compared to the West) this is probably the most telling aspect of the article released by "The Next Tech Stock" today:

"To ensure its platform sees the light of day (and hopefully, the inside of consumers’ wallets), Thred has stitched together a masterstroke deal with Microsoft that will see its interface built in to the Office 365 software package as standard."

"Once the development is completed, it is anticipated that every single Office 365 user will be stumbling upon Thred’s functionality as part of their word-processing, charting and presentation duties."

That's 60 million downloads waiting to happen. Add Threds viral coefficient model to this (which means automatic invites to non users) then growth stands to exponentially exceed this "initial" 60m audience and at break neck pace.

There is plenty to talk about and I could go on for hours. There is plenty of news to come.

I am expecting partnership agreements with Uber; Starbucks; Ticketmaster and others to come. Why? Because every other name they have dropped in their revenue presentation has been announced as fact. $5 for every Uber ride booked.. A cut from Starbucks purchases. Revenue will come and it will come thick and fast upon successful uptake which is not guaranteed but certainly more than well aided by the partnership with Microsoft.

I found it very interesting that MS announced only yesterday that they have a Starbucks feature all of a sudden.. Talk about smoke & Fire..

    Boom.
