I'd say the key difference is GEOMETRY (although I can see how Katanning is a little south of Boddington).
These lodes are discreet, shallow-plunging lenses of mineralisation that are easy to target with close-spaced drilling but quite small in SIZE and therefore mining depth potential is restricted.
Probably 20m at their widest but tapered at either end, limiting each to <<500 ozs per vertical meter.
Collectively the five known targets may add up to 1,000-2,000 ozs per vertical metre and yield a small gold mine.
Boddington and the Superpit are naturally well-endowed with around 125,000 - 150,000 ozs Au-eq per vertical metre.
