Yeah, the political climate definitely does not help inspire confidence at this stage. However, VEC has been somewhat disappointing for almost a year or longer, so I'd imagine what has happened is some traders selling on news and a lot of holders wanted to get out and move to greener pastures. That is my take on current SP anw.
Considering the above, I don't think the gap was a breakaway one, so it'll simply close in a few weeks. Once that's closed, traders and holders will return and that's when we re-rate.
