Hey I'm one of those "less positive" posters and I'm excited! I'm with you "more positive" posters on this one: thinking AK is a fizzler is exactly what we're supposed to be thinking. Pre-open was at 3.9c before the sellers piled in, and there are 12+ months of holders who have been sitting in a dormant SP or at a loss, and the market isn't great. We know the SP has hit 3c and 4c on speculation, and we know the value of equipment is higher than market cap; we know the market is lowballing VEC atm and the market will find fair value at some point.
I personally think election tensions are still carrying risks and I also suspect investors are happy to wait until they know if it's going to be dilution or loan facilities (which is easy to wait for when you can see the SP isn't taking off). There's no FOMO so the SP isn't going to rocket yet, but I expect that will change soon.
I've heard a lot of explanations for SPs in my time but this is the first time I've felt like a genuine tree shake is at play. If I were smart money, I'd wait for the dust to settle and the panic selling to start, then I would go full Pacman and grab every share that isn't bolted down.
Good luck holders.
