I agree with your points in regards to Gary and NAE, but SML are a different beast. Their involvement in the 50% of redmoor gives me confidence. They have a number of projects on the go, and their magnetite deposit is giving them steady income.
Market psychology is interesting, because of the decline in shareprice of NAE, their announcement on Redmoor was taken as a negative. I went on a similar UK London exchange forum, and they were very excited about Redmoor, and saw the two extra holes as positive. The MD of SML said that they were encouraged by Redmoor developments, and further details would be in their quarterly, which should be out by next Friday. I'm sure if there are any further details that provide clarification on why they are encouraged, then NAE's shareprice will appreciate in preparation for the preliminary results. I saw the SML guys on proactive investors, I have a feeling they are going to line everything up in line with expected price increases in tin in 2018/19.
