It's usually Adrien (secretary) that mans the general NAE inquiry email address. Your correspondence may possibly have been above his pay grade I suspect, but I would hope he would have forwarded to Gary for perusal.
There is a bit going on, but with much of the work being outsourced, there's probably no real excuse to be ignoring inquiries, particularly when they should be trying to inspire investor confidence.
