That quarterly was coloured very positively, and again we sit precariously...so any attempt to extrapolate from the quarterly would be destined to be astray of the mark. There were too many omissions, that a seasoned investor would see, and that would give reason to steer clear. One looks for the much promised cloud with the silver lining, but the wind keeps blowing it away. It has as yet proved elusive to management.
It would appear that with around $25 million in revenue last FY, there is cause for complaint, at the very least in terms of financial management and planning. Perhaps we need to make some concerted, serious critique of the next announcement, including extrapolations to the future that have some validity rather than being hidden behind the rider about the uncertainty in mining as an activity. A look at what the announcement doesn't say that should have been said, would be of considerable benefit because we can then use the company's email, and seek information we deem necessary.
I believe, we need to raise and debate issues with the aim of putting resolutions to the Board, and perhaps a group submission to ASIC. The present situation in terms of Board structure and expertise, lack of transparency in the true situation surrounding mining and exploration activities, and the financial management of the company, are all highly questionable. Simply turning up at a meeting as a disjointed group, will mean any serious concerns will be argued against, and votes will go as the Board desires, solidfying the Board and the Company in it's current perilous position. Sadly my fear is, the Board won't learn anything either. I've had a 'none' sentiment on CTL for ages because I just don't know what might happen in the following months after announcements. The announcements always are painted as silver linings on the horizon. The silver linings sadly and continually evaporate into the ether.
